I've been a rifle hunter my entire life. The last 2 seasons I've started doing some archery hunting for muleys. Last year I missed two deer over their backs, obviously range errors and came up empty handed.
This year on opening morning I missed a good-sized deer, once again over his back, and I felt very frustrated. So the next morning this little guy stepped out in front of me and I decided it was time to get my first archery harvest. I figure with the first one in the bag I have gotten over the butterflys a little bit.
I've taken a few good muleys with a rifle but archery hunting is a whole different ball game. Anyway here is a pic of my first ever archery harvest of any big game animal!!

Hunting with a bow is much tougher than rifle.
