Nice bull!  14 days is a lot

Nice bull!  14 days is a lot of hunting too.  You've got a bunch of determination to stick it out for 14 days.  Good luck on any other hunts you might have this year...if you haven't used up all of your vacation on this hunt.

I had split that 14 into two seven day hunts, one for the opener and the second ending last Thurs. I work at a steel mill where we do 12 hour shifts days and nights in a kind of weird rotation. The nice thing is we get 5 days off every 2 1/2 weeks. Those weeks working towards it are rough as you feel like you live at work, but the five off are nice especially for a hunter if they time right with your seasons. I just took two extra days off on each fiver I got for archery giving me fourteen full days to hunt, with the long archery season. I really lucked out for my two upcoming hunts as my five days off falls in line with antelope and then my late deer elk hunt. The roughest part was going back to work Friday night after butchering that elk during the day and getting through the work night. But, I'd do it again of course in a heartbeat.

Thanks guys and again good luck to all hunting!

Good Job

Good looking bull, even better with a bow. First bow kill, fresh meat for the freezer. Hopfully a fat deer with phat horns to fallow.
