Finished some fur

There is a lot of guys in the States use the live traps for cats I see . We don't have to use them here so I don't bother with them . Their pertty heavy to carry any distance . They would really be an asset to avoid the dogs though .

I'm sure that box trap for skunks will come in handy this spring . One time there was a friend of mine called me and said he had trouble with skunls . So ,I went to his house and set up a box trap . I was getting one every night . so , I decided to set 2 traps . Then I was getting 2 every night . I took 22 of his doorstep . .

There was video store in town where I lived and one of my buddy's wife run it . She called me in Feb. and said she had skunk problems . The smell of skunk in the store ruined $200.00 worth the chocolate bars . I said there shouldn't be skunke active in Feb . Well I took 11 from beneath the store . No shortage of them stinkers ...

When I cut the legs off I hold the string with the legs and cut the ends with the leg and the string stays on

Seems to have been a big year for skunks around here. Especially toward end of season. Seemed like there was one in a trap about every day. Lots of them dead along the roads also. Never planned on putting up any skunks untill I kept catching them. Figured if I'm going to be a trapper I better try putting some up. They weren't nearly as hard as I thought they would be. I think the hardest critter I had fleshing was the opossum. Kept getting to close on the under belly and fur would fall out. Good thing they're only worth 50 cents lol

Pull the essence out with a siringe and bottle it. My friend Newt will pay $10 an ounce for it. If they dont spray you can get about an ounce out of each skunk.

What's with the new company, I don't think I know about this Think Sounds like a good thing though, as long as it doesn't interfere with November Big smile
Good News, Most of the big bucks were back on the cameras after the season. Don't think we lost any of them Mr. Cool!

My company lost our contract and it was taken over by another company. They did some layoffs but I got hired back on by the new company starting May 1st. I have an interview tomorrow for a diferent job with the company I work for now because I would like to stay with them.....I have 8 years in and like the way they treat me.
