Hellomcfly and Ex thanks a ton. I went to unit 3 today a found a nice little 3 point fill my tag, just what I was looking for to put in the freezer. Yes

OH, by the way ...Any elk seen? We have some cow (meat for the beast) tags for 4th season.

HeavyC I did not see any elk, but I did find where two small groups had cut across the road. Both groups were heading northwest.

Yep, like they always do bout this time! Thanks, I am hoping the snow will hold out one more week! I am leaving at the end of 3rd to get in a couple of days scouting beforehand so maybe it will help.

hellomcfly I found him at the west end of Deep Canyon. I was heading up to Godiva Rim and thought I would go look in the canyon. There was one giant buck and about 70 does that busted out of the end and went down and crossed the river into unit 2. The little three point decided he would sneak up the canyon instead (bad mistake) and I busted him.

hellomcfly, the other buck was scary big. He was super heavy and around 34-35 inches wide with decent point length. If I was to guess I would put him in the upper 190's. Great buck! Yes
