Finally got hit......

Went up yesterday and finally had a bear hit my bait site. Actual hit that is. Found fresh tracks in snow about 5" 5 1/2" track. Came down threw the snow belly dragging. Did not take any pics except of crows on bait. Think it was to cold for batteries. Will have some this next weekend for sure. Another week of baiting then following weekend sitting bait. Cant wait.

Good luck. I think your lucky just to be in a place you can hunt spring bear. What area are you hunting in?

I hunt units 48 and 36
48 till the end of month then 36 till I think the end of June.
