I finally finished Back Country Bow Hunting by Cameron Hanes. It truly is a great book full of great tips on back country hunting. I love how he put humor into his stories, I recommend it to anyone thinking of doing a wildeness bow hunt.

I highly recommend it, if you do any elk or mule deer hunts i think its a must. he gives some great advice. and i like the humor he puts into his own hunting stories. I also like the fact that hes from oregon and give a lot of references on how to hunt the back counrty here. which i plan on doing next year up in the eagle cap wilderness.

I have seen that book in
I have seen that book in Sportsmans Warehouse I think. I am going to have to look into it. I have a major backup in reading though. During the school year it is really hard for me to get my own reading done. It is consumed by readings for my classes. I have got a book by a wolverine researcher that is next at bat. I will look into that book though for sure.

Hawkeye, I highly recommend this book, I think you would like it as i'm pretty sure your the back country hunting type. if you are you will love this book, some of the info in there is atleast to me common sence but to other they might not know. but again if you get the chance take advantage of it.

Broke down and ordered one
After reading this post last week, I broke down and ordered a copy for myself. I only had time to read one night this past weekend but from what I have read so far, it's a great book! I can't wait to get more time to read!

Okay, now you've piqued my
Okay, now you've piqued my curiosity and I'll have to get a copy of the book. I like Cameron Hanes and his new tv show. He is also an ultra trail runner. Those guys that can run 100 miles in a race amaze me. He definitely should be in good shape for back pack hunting.
I doubt my library has the book so I'll have to break down and spend some bucks.
