Fastest Hunt Ever?

What is the least amount of time you ever spent in a stand and killed a deer. Last season I had a 10 minute hunt which was pretty fast. However, about 10 years ago I climed into my stand one day and had a deer down in 3 minutes. Can anyone beat that?

22 minutes was my fastest.  I

22 minutes was my fastest.  I shot my first deer, back in 1992 I think.  Was so excited for the entire next year, waiting for the next season to arrive.  Had my travel plans all laid out, Dad did the scouting, etc.  The time came, I flew home, and hit the woods the next morning.  22 minutes later I had a deer on the ground.  All that waiting for a 22 minute hunt.... lol

Pretty Quick!

I would say my quickest hunt was just this past year during Ohio bow season when I took a nice size doe that had come in after no more than 10 minutes as well.

Back in 2000 on opening day of Ohio gun season I was climbing my tree stand when I heard 3 shots (a high probability of a missed deer) that came from down below the property line - about 200+ yards.  I finished climbing the stand, pulled up my shotgun, quietly loaded it, and had enough time to turn and see two bucks (8 and 9 points) run up from the area of shooting and stop within 40 yards of me.  I pulled up on the 9 pointer and dropped him right there.  So a total time of about 1 minute or so.  But that doesn't count as my quickest as that hunt I was returning to the same stand after lunch and I had sat there for 4.5 hours that morning seeing nothing.

Quite quick

I'm not sure how long it was in minutes BUT, i was hunting white tails and went to a buddies place to get permission to hunt. His house is in a draw with lots of trees and high deer numbers.  As we were talking at the door he said " there is a good deer standing beside the shop" and i turned to see about a 160 class deer. Long story short i shot it off his deck. Then used the tractor to dress it out. You got to love sask hospitality

Quick Hunts

It would be difficult to have a quick morning hunt as I get there an hour or more before it gets light, but I have taken multiple deer in the first minutes of legal shooting time.

One of our biggest bucks taken in the afternoon came very shortly after sitting down.  I don't know exactly how long, but it was very quick (maybe 10ish minutes, could've been slightly more or less).  It was during one of the heaviest snow-storms I've been in while hunting, and it was in the rut so the deer were moving like crazy.  Oddly enough, it had been snowing hard all day (to the point that it was difficult to see while walking), and it happened to stop shortly after we got the deer.  The picture attached is this deer.

Fastest hunt ever !

I have never tried sitting in a tree stand to hunt, but I have killed several right at legal shooting light. So yes maybe just a couple of minutes !
