If you want a really great elk hunt, I'd try Tom & Bill Schulz in Wetmore, Colorado. I went on a Bighorn Sheep hunt with them several years back and I can't say enough good things about them and their operation. They offer a fantastic elk hunt which is part of the state department of wildlife "Ranching for Wildlife" program. That means that their season lasts longer and the licenses are easier to get than other drawing only licenses. They have some quality animals because the area is totally limited to their clients and they manage the herd kills well. You'll definitelyl see some of the bigger bull elk with them.
