failsafe bullets on mule deer?

I am considering switching to failsafe bullets to hunt mule deer/elk/bear. Does anyone have any experience on these? I have a friend who has used them on elk/deer and bear and really liked them but i was wondering if they will open up enough or just punch straight through? I will be using them in my .300 win mag. On another side note anyone have the zeiss conquest 3x9 scope? i just bought one and was impressed with it. it is replacing a leuopold fixed 6 power. thanks again guys

failsafe bullets on mule deer?

Winchester / Nosler CT Failsafes perform a lot like FMJ's on light skinned game, so I suggest you consider a bullets that's not quite so tough. Checkout the following thread for alternative ammo to consider:
