Hey Tyler! Not too many places in all of Canada, let alone NB, for finding Encore barrels.....SIR being the one and only. But there is some good news....Canada is finally getting a TC warranty rep! His name is Lyle Linkaitis in Selkirk, Manitoba. I have his phone number but haven't contacted him yet. Rumour has it that he will be carrying a selection of barrels, receivers, and stocks. If true about the receivers, we'll be able to build up a second Encore! But if you're in a hurry, couldn't you have one brought up from down south in the spring? PM sent.

And Wonsky, you pegged the Gun Dealer right on. He doesn't get my business....I'd rather order powder and bullets from Wholesale Sports and pay the extra shipping.

Hey boys, sorry Todd sent u a pm before i read this.
Yeah The gun dealer really screwed me around with the Thompson, so i dont even bother with him anymore. I do do some business with Wholesale and SIR. so guess i will stick with them, But yeah Todd i am not in a huge hurry, and think i will just wait and get one brought up in the spring, be a lot less hustle, and probably a little cheaper!!

What else is going on, how is the coyote situtauion?? havnt even gotten out this year, But my 22-250 barrel back on after deer season, and havnt even fired it....

I got a new JS Preymaster to play with this winter but all I'm calling out are bobcats....three to date. And I forgot to put in for my damn tags last September. The coyotes seem to be far and few between....only got one so far. With Carl snaring and Billy Tozer shooting over bait from his friggin back step I think they're pretty well cleaned up locally. That one coyote was thin as a rake and full of birdshot....man, was it ever a pain to flesh. I've been taking trips up the Mullin Stream and Acadia to do some howling...trying to locate some pairs but not much sign. There's a few around Black's Cove where DNR are dumping deer but the Griswald's Corner crowd pretty much has that blind to themselves....I'd rather call anyway. I had great luck there last winter....calling out and dumping two on that big beaver pond below the turn. Called out one of the cats on that same pond before the last storm. Gonna start the other side of the river tomorrow morning if it's not too windy.

Yeah, Carl said he got a few in the snares, Im Like u i just cant seem to get used to sitting and watchin a bait for a dog. I would love to go someday while ur calling never have really done that for coyotes. heard lots about, and am going to invest in a caller one or these days, but have never actually done it!!!

Like i said havnt been out at all this winter, havnt even been out on the bike to check out the deer trails or anything. Been a lazy busy winter i guess so far!!

You're welcome to go hunting with me anytime. Last winter I had coyotes run up behind me then break away and start they're warning barks....a real pain. A second gunner sure would be an advantage. Get that '250 barrel on and come on out!
