Elk Hunting Unit 313

I'm trying to plan a rifle elk hunt with a general license. I am in Iraq right now and won't be back in time to archery hunt. I have limited access to computers and phones but I think I have decided on unit 313 I was wondering if anyone has hunted there or has any information or suggestions for us on the area. Two of us are planning to camp and hike from there. Thanks for the help.

Elk Hunting Unit 313 montana

I plan on hunting in Montana we have big game combo licenses

Hunting Tip: Don't Be A Unit Hopper

Hunting is not usually a pursuit where instant gratification abounds. It takes a lot of time, practice, resources and patience to be a successful hunter. So when someone decides that an area they hunted only once without taking an animal is worthless and devoid of game, I don't quite understand it.
