Elk hunt in Colorado unit 24

I am looking into an Elk hunt in Colorado GMU 24 with Ripple Creek Lodge.  Has anyone had experience with this outfitter?  Help!

welcome to BGH

That's a popular area that a lot of guys on this board have hunted.  Not sure about the outfitter though.

Welcome to the site, always

Welcome to the site, always good to talk with more hunters. I know the area well but do not know of that Outfitter. I know the DOW web site has some info on outfitters so that might help.Sorry could not be more help.

Welcome to BGH!  I have not

Welcome to BGH!  I have not hunted that area - YET!  However the Colorado DOW does recommend this unit for hunting - see web site link here - http://wildlife.state.co.us/Hunting/BigGame/SuggestedHuntingAreas/Pages/SuggestedHuntingAreas.aspx

Here is als Colorado DOW guide contact information.  Your regional contact may be able to provide more insight to your specific outfitter - see web site link here - http://wildlife.state.co.us/Hunting/BigGame/HuntGuides/Pages/BigGameHuntingGuides.aspx

Anyhow - good luck!

Welcome to BGH!! It looks

Welcome to BGH!! It looks like none of us are familiar with the guide itself but you should be able to get him checked out.

Good luck with your hunt and let us know how it goes.

Let me be the 4th or 5th guy

Let me be the 4th or 5th guy to say, welcome to the site!!! Wink

If it's elk or deer hunting information for Colorado you need, Unit 24 or elsewhere, you came to the right place!  There are lots of guys on here who hunt in Colorado, and I have found they are more than willing to give advice.

Stick around the site some, check out alot of other threads, you may even find that there has been information posted on that specific unit before.  Be sure to throw up some photos and stories of your hunts.

Best of luck!!!

Leftovers...

Just waiting now to see if there are any leftovers for 1st season.  I'm pretty nervous there won't be any!
