Elk Back Door is Open!

I looked last night and nothing - 6:30am this morning the back door is open on Elk.  Looks Like I got my elk tag too!  Gotta check with my son to see if he got his elk tag.  We are going to have a great hunting season this year.  Good luck to you guys as well!

Ditto Unit 40

That's funny I was reading all the prior year posts and sent you a PM.  Looks like I'll be in that unit too.

Good luck!

Quinton, excited for you to get a tag on the home turf!!!! 1st or 3rd? Can't wait to see the pic's and here the story!!!
I did not draw anything but my bear on my 2nd choice along with my 13 yr. old . She passed on a 2 yr. old last Sept. I caught him on trail cam in early Oct and he must of put on 70 pounds. Looked like a bowling ball, but still needed to grow up.. Real pretty chocolate!!! No Moose again, no deer, no muzzy antelope, just did pp for elk. Maybe in a year I will get lucky on some tags!! Congrats and have a short Summer!!! Chad

my code is still coming up as

my code is still coming up as 480 app but my second choice was a cow tag that requires no points so does that mean mine hasn't been updated yet or I didn't draw at all?

draw

Vinny217, I do not think you drew. My daughters 2nd choice is still pulling up the 500 code.

Congratulations Quinton. I

Congratulations Quinton. I remember seeing some of the sheds you found there last year. I hope you find the bull who was standing under those antlers. 3rd season if I remember an earlier post?

I'm still waiting to see if my friend drew 61. I will tag along and try to help him if he got it. I spent one weekend looking for turkeys and poking around near where your father helped plant those trees. I might PM you if my friend gets his tag.

This is awesome! I cannot

This is awesome! I cannot wait to see the bull that you kill. Like i said previously, I wish I had more time to hunt when I drew in 2010. There are some absolute toads in there. I had to "settle" for a 320" bull on opening day due to school.
