Either sex elk in montana 300 units

I am a nonres hunter with an elk tag and wonder if anybody could point me in a general area of the 300 units in montana where I might have a chance at an elk.

you going to hunt on your own want a guide.....horses, foot,out of a truck. There is alot of public land down that way
