Yeah, he isn't a monster buck but he was able to harvest a decent buck. That buck like a typical eastern North Carolina buck, high and tight. We see a lot of bucks with those same features.
If they make it past two years old though, we will take him out of the gene pool. If you start seeing 8 pointers+, meaning 8, 9, 10... or better in the same age class, then I would take one like that deer out now.

Nice looking buck. Hoping to get one this season my self in eastern NC. Although I haven't had much luck on the lower Roanoke this season during archery.
