Yeah, these were posted last

Yeah, these were posted last summer leading up to the season.  We were all wondering if one would get poached.  The second deer is a trophy himself, but he gets dwarfed by the other guy.

There are a lot of these

There are a lot of these front range bucks that hang around the private property over there.  The size of some of them that you can see west of Denver just off of the C-470 loop road are incredible.  I have seen a few that have been hit by cars or trucks that would score close to the 200 point range if the antlers hadn't been broken, but then every now and then you will see one that has had just it's head cut off after being hit which is illegal but they still do it.

The DNR here in WV will cut the heads off of some of the roadkill deer so they can test for CWD. That may be why you are seeing it there.

Talk about a deer that knows

Talk about a deer that knows where it's safe! In front of a post office in town!

Those are some fantastic bucks - I'll have to look for one like that next time I'm mule deer hunting. Thumbs up

Insane!

Unreal!!!  It would be nice to get some photos of that buck out of velvet.  Also, finding that buck's drops would be amazing!

I had not seen these pictures before, so thanks for sharing.

I'll have to ask around but

I'll have to ask around but someone does have his sheds already and the pictures are on the net somewhere. A co-worker brought the pics to work but I'm not sure where he found them.

I swear bucks like that know

I swear bucks like that know how to identify private property. Those pictures are sweet. I live right by the C470 loop; where are these giant deer you talk of?
