DON'T KNOCK MUZZLELOADER SEASON IF YOUR STATE HAS ONE!

Now that I've been a member on here for a few days I figured I would share my piucture with you. I have always sworn that the Maine 7 day Muzzle season was the best time to hunt whitetail.....I like to call it the second rut! I must boast that this is newest Maine state record Muzzleloader buck. All I can say is SCOUT SCOUT SCOUT! I never saw him during bow or gun season, even tho I knew he was there. He let his guard down after the gun season ended and woods quieted down!

I got my biggest buct the last day of the NY season in 2000. He walked to within 15 yards of me when I shot him with my 12G Rem 870. Didn't go far.
