Does anyone know where to hunt in Eastern Washington?

Does anyone know where to hunt in Eastern Washington, Areas 121 or 124? I want to take my daughter to hunt in Eastern Washington, but I am not familiar with any of the good spots.

Any help you could give us, where to hunt and where to stay, would be much appreciated.

Pat

Pat,
I ssume that by posting 121 & 124 you are looking for deer.
I know 121 fairly well, but know little of 124. If you go to your local BLM office, you will find a map that lists most all public lands, not just BLM. It's a start.

I live on the boarder of 130 & 133. If you had a doe permit, I could likely get you onto some private land next season. The deer chew the winter wheat down to the dirt later in the fall. Farmers like to see those herds thinned out a bit before the coming spring. These 2 units put out 400 antlerless permits this season.

124 is close enough to Spokane that a place to stay should not be a problem,
121, I'm not much help to ya there.
Up near Fruitland WA, theres a White Willow Motel, but it's the only one I can think of and could not vouch for it's condition. Up near Kettle Fall there are probably more.

Good luck

121 is loaded with white-tail...good choice not to mention the east side of it borders 117 or more commonly known as 49 Degrees North GMU. You could set "Camp" in any of the towns headed up the ole 395 corrdior....Chewelah, Colville or even Kettle Falls on the North end of 121. The Huckle Berry GMU (121) is one long Mtn range running north/south....lots of public land. From Chewelah you could go south to Hwy 231 and follow it to Valley, Wa take a left and follow the road to Waitts lk. Follow the road around the lake and up the Mt all paved. It comes to a "Y" in the road go left....after about 2-3 miles its all public. Then going north from Chewelah on Hwy 395 hang a left into the tiny town of Blue Creek. Follow the "Blue creek Rd" till it makes a 90 cant miss it. From there you can make another decision. Go left up the dirt road around 1 1/2 -2 miles till you see a green sign on your left "Locke" Follow it a mile or so more public land......Back at your 90 go right around the corner follow it to the "Addy-Gifford Rd" take a left follow it 10-15 miles to the top of the mt. There will be another green sign on your left also "Locke rd" keep in mind these two no longer are connected and unless you really like walking not a good idea to try and find your way through. PM me for some more info ill set you up into some more public land around the area....
