Practice, practice, and more

Practice, practice, and more practice and then when you have one coming in don't call too much.

You may of been calling too

You may of been calling too much or the tom may of gotten to a location and saw you.  It is hard to tell without being there.  It takes time to learn just when to call and when not to.  You may also want to try two different calls when calling.
