are there any places a DIY caribou hunt is feasable in eastern canada?

or does anyone know of a value priced drop camp? i don't need anything but a place where caribou live. i can survive on a case of ramen for the week and can filter my own water.

i think i could drive from ohio, and might have some family to go with as well.

what would be ideal is to find a place where my OLD uncle can go with me. he needs to hunt from a vehicle, since he can only walk a few hundred yards at a time. we have trucks and atv's if we can use them, but i don't know the policies up there, if atv's are legal or not.

any info would be great.
