This is a great example of how a statement can mislead without many calling it an outright lie. Of course when entering office George W Bush fired all his US attourneys as did Reagan and Clinton. Often many are then rehired.
What was unusual with Bush was that he fired the US attourneys that he had hired in the first place because they wouldn't perform illeagle acts for him. The firing of the big 8 didn't happen until the second term because the Attourney General in the first term Ashcroft just wouldn't break the law in such a blatant way.
I would suggest that the original poster simply get a more honest source for news. Perpetuating such mis-truths (I'm being kind) does nothing to advance understanding, or to stop the gross hijacking of our Justice system that has been publicly decried by people of all political stripes.

For anyone more interested in the USA (stands for United States Attourney) scandal, search out and read TPM Muckracker. They are the investigative online journalists who broke this story and brought down Gonzallezs. If we had a congress people would be doing perp walks.
I completely agree with that cartoon. Its been that way since Bush was first elected and hasnt stopped since
Romey, hey man checked out your site and knives beautiful work guy! Gotta disagree with you on Bush. The press loved him and he was thrown softballs for every interview up until the last year or two when the economy and war really started getting ugly. They finally started getting a little tough on him.
Sure he's been made fun of a lot but that's due to his own mangling of the English language and the corny and ridiculous statements he makes.
Again, would love to get one of those knives someday.
Thank you very much for the kind words, its comments like that makes me go to lengths i do to make a higher quality knife. Id be tickled to work on a project with you.
As for the news babying Bush, i dunno what news you watched but wasnt the same news i watched, everyone is entiled to thier opinion , i fought for the right for you to have it and i respect it. Im not a super Bush supporter even less so the second term, i do have to agree, its some amazing the schooling he has how horrible a public speaker he is.
Deer hunters spend so much time trying to pattern deer that we forget that we also can be "patterned." After all, most of us hunt the same days and the same hours, so it isn't difficult for deer to figure us out.
While we would never recommend giving up hunting the traditional moving times for deer -- early morning and late evening -- it's important to keep in mind that deer will move at other times of the day. Sometimes hunting through lunch, or getting in your stand earlier than usual for an...
