Destination Mule deer

I recently watched this Eastman video. Some great footage on there. there is a Diy hunt in Colorado on there about two thirds of the way through. Anybody know what Wilderness area its in? Pretty country.

If I remember right they were hunting in Eagle County. They never say the units they hunt.

If it is the one that I am thinking of it is in unit 35 on private property. I have seen some of the largest mule deer that I have seen up there during the late elk hunts or while just up looking at them.

The one i'm thinking of was wilderness. They hunted for two days in one spot and then moved and got a nice buck the last day. Neat looking terrain and i was just curious what general area it was in.

Unit 35 has a couple of wilderness study areas. Bull Gulch and Castle Peak. That area had a horrible winter kill a few years back. It might be a few more years before many mature bucks will be around. DOW needs to really cut back the number of buck tags in there, Eagle County genetics is some of the best in the state.
