Desert Bighorn

Well after 17 days in the field, I finally shot my Desert Bighorn ram today.
I passed on 3 smaller rams earlier in the day. All were about 6 years old. Around 3 pm today I found this ram. He is 10 years old. Severly Broomed off, Lots of pieces of his horns missing from butting heads, scars on across his face and nose.

A couple of my friends who accompanied me.

Those photos are amazing. I've got to get down there sometime.

No I wasn't out for 17 days straight. I would run down for a weekend here and there. A couple of mid week day hunts. It was a 4 hour drive from my home, So it was doable to sneek away for a day or two at time.
