Denver Post Article

The Denver Post had an story about duck and goose numbers today. It looks like Colorado is starting to see a lot more birds. Welcome back waterfowl indeed! http://www.denverpost.com/outdoors/ci_16859466

While we may have good goose

While we may have good goose and duck numbers we need to get some sort of weather along the front range.  I have ben out the last few all the way from Ft Morgan to South of Brighton.  While I have seen alot of birds they are stuck in a warm weather rut.  We need some snow kto mix them up a bit and change their pattern.  The weather will also start to bring the bigger geese down.  I have chatted with a lot of fellow waterfowlers and they are noticing the same thing"dog days of December".  We are are real readdy for a serious cold snap.

Definately nice to see.  Alot

Definately nice to see.  Alot of the western states are seeing an increase, especially in some species.

We were just allowed within the last few years to start shooting canvasbacks again, and I think they are up to 2 pintail now.

One of the reason I give to Ducks Unlimited.... Thumbs up
