Re: Deer pictures, can we have a sticky for the season?

I agree with satchmo, seems that Deer will leave whenever Hogs appear on the scene. Some years ago I hunted public land that was overrun with Hogs and I have sat and watched Deer feeding waiting for Mr. Big Boy to show himself, only to have the Deer scatter when a Hog would pass thru. I would kill 7 or 8 Hogs a year just to try and keep them out of "my" area but getting rid of them has to be an effort by all that hunt the area and most would just spit at them but would not shoot them. It became such a problem that my hunting buddies would joke that if someone wanted to kill a Hog just call me and have me place a stand in their area and the Hogs would just appear.

Now Bears....check out my plight with Black Bears that I have had this year in the "Black Bear" section. Deer seemed to evaporate into thin air and leave the planet when Bears started showing up on my Trail cam but started showing back up when Bears left.
They are one of the reasons I don't have any pics to post on here, Damn Bears !!

Nice to see another young lady hunter. My daughter hunts with me at least a couple times every year. Welcome to the forum!
