Well I guess mine is the complete opposite. Last year when I put my trail camera out, by the end of the season I had pictures of 15 bucks 2 does and a couple fawns 1female 1male. Any thoughts on that?
My daughter shot a beautiful buck. We spent most of the day tracking and gaining permision to look for it. 800 yds before we lost blood in the pooring rain. She had a bunch of names for that buck during the coarse of the day but in the end she told me that she had a really good time and can't wait to try again. My wife saw a bunch but they were small and struttinnruttin had a chance but he blew it ![]()
I passed on a big doe hoping it would make it to my wife because that was the direction it was heading. We'll try again tomorrow.
Hunter777 ,,man that reall sucks when you know you hit a deer and loose track of it . I guess it's called the joys of hunting . I've done that a few times myself . One buck laid in the snow for 3 hours and when we did finally hit the track and walked right into him .He jumps up and gone . Again, the joys of hunting ..
Great to see the ladies having an intrest in hunting as well . You Go Girls ,,,, Good Luck Hunter 777 and the ladies !!!!!

I definitely did blow it! lol. Shorty after hunter777 posted this I missed a doe at 115 yards (shotgun only area). Was shooting a shot gun with rifled slugs and a bead shot. So 115yds was a tough shot. I also seen a buck shortly before I shot, but he was a good 150+ yds out and I suspect its the buck my buddy Hunter777 shot about 15 mins later. Had a great week of hunting so far, seen lots of action and enjoyed being in the woods with good friends!
here is a pic of me (right) and hunter777 (left) with his six point he got earlier this week. Good job buddy!
