I'm a disabled hunter wanting to find a club to join or lease. I still have the love and want till hunt till I can't anymore. If any one knows of a lease or club that could help me please contact me thanks
We hunt a lease in SE Georgia, Boones Creek in St. George. Our 14 year old is in a wheelchair and even though she does not hunt, we can access all areas of the lease and camp with her. The club is great and they do everthing they can to make things accessable. Family orientated. (912) 286-4188 the club manager is named Lee.
Over the years I have seen several elk and deer hides left in the woods by hunters and I have to wonder why they do this? I fully understand and agree about getting the hide off the animal as soon as possible to cool the meat, but why not pack out the hide with you and use it? As far as I know there are no state laws that require you to take the hide home, but to me why waste such a beautiful part of the animal? Some might think they have no use for the hide or it costs too much to tan....
