Re: Deer Hunting

hello,if your talking about nova scotia deer hunting rifle is always the last friday of october and ends the first saturday of december (usually). theres not alot of big bucks around where i live like their used to be it was known for big bucks. theirs so many people hunting now for the same deer and its alot easier to go back in the old country because of the bikes.anyone that wants to have a yarn any time about hunting small or big game that would be great. im know great hunter but i still like hearing stories. turtlecreek

Deer Hunting

Hey turtlecreek
This weekend in NS starts bowseason...your right, the sign is not what I am used to back in On (Kingston area) But there are deer, I guess the past few winters have taken their tool on the deer population... Too bad...I was scouting a fairly good area the other day and the coyote's were everywhere....DA^m
They take their share also
Seen a few good tracks of big boys, but not plentyful...I guess that is a good thing since this is supposed to be a challenge and not simply "shooting in a barrell"
So you are shelbourne area, I am in the Lawrencetown E area (man Hurricane Juan messed up the woods here)
