I decided to get a small deer feeder in an attempt to bring deer close to my stand and keep them on the property. It seems they like to hide out on the neighbors NO HUNTING property quite a bit since gun season. Well my stand and deer feeder are back in the woods by an alfalfa field. I noticed a lot of deer come onto our property just to eat the alfalfa and then they leave! I'm having trouble bringing them in the woods to my feeder! Any advice or tips to lure them in and keep them on the property? I have a 5-gallon bucket deer feeder with corn, sunflower seeds, and molasses mixed, plus I have a scented mineral lick. I put out some apples and carrots to see if it would attract the deer, but I think their having trouble finding the feeder. Any advice would be much appreciated.
