I have always heard that, when possible, be sure to hunt with the sun to your back. When using a decoy to hide behind, does anybody have any thoughts or experience regarding if you still want to follow this maxim? I would tend to think yes simply because it still gives the animal less visual information, which should increase your chances for success. On the other hand, the entire purpose of a decoy is using visual information to confuse your target animal, so more light might better entice your prey. Any takers?
