Hey all, I drew a D-12 zone tag this year. Im moving to 29 palms in a few weeks and was wondering if anyone around the area wanted to get together? I have a lot of experience hunting deer in Alaska, just new to it in California. PM me if your interested. Thanks

Welcome to the site. Not many people from here hunt in California. Only a couple of regulars. I hunt down in D-16 myself. D-12 is a decent area, I know a couple of guys who hunt it. Main thing about So Cal hunting is scouting. The guys who seem to put in the time, seem to always get the deer.
Get yourself a map of the local National Forest in your area. In D-12, you would probably want to look in the San Bernardino National Forest.
