CVA muzzleloader barrels

I have a Conneticut Valley Arms 50 caliber barrel that is marked MADE IN U.S.A., I believe that it dates to the time when CVA was primarily involved in supplying parts and kit rifles, rather than the spanish imports of today.

Does anyone have any information as to whether Conneticut Valley Arms made their own barrels or may have used Douglas barrels?

I would greatly appreciate any information before I use this barrel.
Thanks in advance,
