Yes i ate them. i wouldn't kill something if i didn't intend on eating it....though i would take pheasant over duck anyday. They made for some great sausage.
I went pheasant and quail hunting the 15th and got 2 pheasants and 3 quial..from late season.. and this morning went goose hunting and got 2... so this evening when i went to make some dinner i had to decide when i opened the fridge do i want duck, goose, pheasant, quail, or deer.... when i realized this i was feeling pretty good and realized for having school, sports, and work..i did good this season.

Hey good job man. The reason I asked if you ate them was because some people don't like them. Plus, even if you don't like them you can just give them away.

yea. you can. and normallyi would try but most of my friends are like me and enjoy duck hunting but arre not the best fans of duck... normally i try and makesome sausage out of it or mix with any other meat i have handy.. ...season ends this weekend for ducks and geese... i dontthink i am going to be able to make it out i have to sell my truck to a person around noon and i have a dance/date later that evening.....realizing this i amnow realizing it is baseball season for me and that also conflicts with one of my faveroit passions of turkey hunting.

For eating, stick to puddle ducks, divers are usually not that great. Used to be Canvasback were good eating but I've heard they are not so hot anymore. Haven't shot ducks in years. Go early and shoot Teal, they are great eating.
