Went out a few times season just opened for just about everything got these guys this morning with the wife and kids. (Couple of Spruce hens and a Spruce grouse in there too. Anyone else having any luck yet.

Nah it was just flipped over and all bloody and wet trust me its mallards and thanks man for the comment were they ever good eatin.

Couple Nice mallard hens and a woody
A friend of mine and I went out on Wensday. We shot 4 birds. This is a picture of what I shot.
My friend shot a male woodie and a hen malard.
What do you guys do with your feathers? I am always looking for feathers for fly tying.

Nice looking green heads . Season opens 10/20 here in Nor Cal. Can't wait I'm counting down the days. Anyone ever hunt Grizzley Island. I have a question about the cresant unit.
