Couple More Small Problems in new Format

I have noticed a couple of other small problems to see if you can fix them.

One is that when replying to a thread you use to be able to see all the replies in that thread, now all that you can see is the first question.  At least that is all that I can see.

Also when you quote a reply and would like to remove some of the answer or question that you are quoting you can not do it.  And if it is a multipul quote it quotes all of it instead of letting you remove all but what you want to quote.

One other thing on the quoteing is that if you have a reply that you want to quote and there are other replies below it yours will go in directly below the one that you are quoteing instead of at the end of the thread.

On other question is there a spell check for the new forums?  I know that it would be helpfull for some of us.

It looks like a lot of the new format is coming together keep up the good work.

I was able to delete a portion of the quote. You could even remove the duplicate or redundant nested quote tags in the comment box when you're composing your response.

Now on the replies, there are two ways to reply. If you click the large reply button at the top and bottom of each thread, then your reply will go to the end of the thread. If you are replying (by using the smaller reply button under each post) or quoting a specific person in that thread, your response will go right after the post you are quoting. Your post will then be indented, so people can see that you are replying to that person.

I believe the spellcheck works automatically in some browsers. I use two browsers, in Firefox I see the spellcheck and in IE8 I do not. So it appears to be browser related. Also to see the misspelled words, click disable rich-text when you're done composing your post, and you will see your errors underlined in red. It also underlines the code, people's names, etc. When you right click on the word, it gives you several options for a correct spelling. Kind of neat, but that is only in Firefox, I do not know if that feature is available in IE.

I'm not sure if seeing the entire thread when you're responding is possible with this forum, but I agree that would be nice to have too.

Yeah, I have IE8 and if I click on my spell-check, my text disappears until I shut it off, then it re-appears. I also misspelled some words on purpose and tried that "disable rich-text" tip you mention, but it doesn't highlight or underline for me either.

For me this only works in

For me this only works in firefox, so I'm guessing only that browser supports that feature.

The sitewide search box works

The sitewide search box works well (top right corner of each page). The results are good and if you want to limit to just forum topics, you can click the "advanced search" link and limit to the forum or even specific forums.
