Very nice!  Early season

Very nice!  Early season squirrel is great.  Hey Retired, are they fox squirrels there in Ohio, or straight up Grays?  In Vermont we only had Grays, but in the Pittsburgh area, close to Ohio, they had those fox squirrels.  Kinda like Grays on steroids...... lol

Yes - deffinitely a steroid

Yes - deffinitely a steroid thing!  Mostly Grays on my Dad's property but there are some Fox squirrels in the larger wooded areas too.  His place is about 60 miles SE of Pittsburgh.  I like the Fox as they have more meat on them!  Making me hungry.  Going squirrel hunting this Thursday.  Dancing

Pittsburgh

You guys keep mentioning Pittsburgh, Big win yesterday for the Nation!!!!!! Nothing better than walking around NYC with my Steelers Jersey on after a win against the Jets. Now back to squirrel hunting convo. For whatever reason Yonkers thru White Plains are loaded with black squirrels but I don't see them in the city or further up in Putnam. Don't know why.

  Pittsburgh Fan?  I won't

Pittsburgh Fan?  I won't hold that against you!  lol Fox squirrels kill the Black squirrels so maybe this is the reason they are only in one geographic area.  They do coexist with Gray squirrels because they are a subgroup type of Gray squirrel.

Fox Squirrels

Yea, I don't know, I've never seen a fox squirrel though. I believe they aren't in the New England region and are located in Western NY. I've never see one in Nepa either.

Hey Retired, is he just across from Wheeling, or thereabouts?  Don't know if I told you before, but I went to college for 4+ years just down the I-77 in Marietta.........

Not you too?!?!?! Sorry to

Not you too?!?!?! Sorry to hear that! lol I am a die-hard Browns fan. Not the same rivalry though with Pittsburgh since 1999 when the "new" Browns came back. I would have thought you were a Patriots fan. Yes, you did say once you went to school in Ohio. Some good hunting in that Noble, Washington, and Monroe County area too.

Dad's NW of Wheeling about 30 miles in Cadiz, Ohio off of Rt250 and Rt22... so about 30 miles east of the I-77. Marietta is only about 80 miles from him.

You lived dangerously back

You lived dangerously back then! That was a big old stadium. I sat in the dawg pound (end zone) back then - really fun times. Thumbs up
