Coues Deer

OK, the last two years have left me couesless and I intend to rectify that this year.

The first year I put a bullet in one but was unable to recover him, if you recall my story. Last year I focused on filling my WY antelope tags and didn't dedicate the time needed to filling my coues tag but I did find two 100+ inch bucks in the binoculars but couldn't find them in the riflescope. Moving 10 Yards to a better position, and them bedded but watching me at 473 Yards, left me couesless for the second year running.

Since Hunter25 helped me with the antelope I'm helping him with filling a coues tag. While I may not have been able to close the deal for myself the past two years I have no doubt in my ability to find deer. I'm in hopes that we both get to fill our tags this year. This will be his first time doing a "Poor man's sheep hunt" as Jack O'Conner referred to hunting coues deer.

I'm scouting and spending time at the range and doing all I know to do to make this year a success for both of us. I've even been checking out some new possibilities in the hunt area and it looks promising.

Good luck to both of you on

Good luck to both of you on your hunt.

I've been considering a coues deer hunt sometime next year in NM and/or AZ.

I sent you a PM.

Shade

If you want a shade umbrella you will have to either carry your own or hire Manuel the illegal alien to carry it. I'm already packing the cast iron cookware set.

With my old creaky knees that's enough. As for clues, I bought one last week. Big smile
