Corned meat bear and deer

I just took my corned deer out of the pickle and into the freezer . I done some bear a while ago and went bad . I kept this batch in the fridge and it was beautiful stuff . Only a small batch of bear , but I put a 5 gallon bucket of deer on . It turned good and cold so I kept it in the barn . I learned a valuable lesson . You have to keep the meat at 38 degrees F. or colder . Got a good reciepe off the internet . Sunday super is corned deer and cabbage ( I wonder what the poor people eat ) LOL LOL

corned deer

We haven't tried for the coyotes yet . I stretched a bear skin the other night and my son mentioned the calling so when we get some furs done up we'll be giving it a try .He shot one from his deer blind and not too much damage .

I gave it a go on Thanksgiving night. I thought I was just making noise with that call but just before dark I had one come in to 15 - 20 yds. Lots of Fun! Then last week a buddy of mine and i both got one. I'm really liking this new adventure Yes
