CVC,

I lost count on the number of paragraphs it took NOT to give you an answer to your question. I still apparently don't owe you that drink. In case you don't remember SoCo the question was, will you be as critical of Obama as you were of Bush on this issue if he doesnt change the policy? CVC is getting thirsty. lol

My dear friend buns, if you don't have the necessary cognitive ability to see what my answer is, it's not my fault your buying all the drinks. Maybe a few less drinks on your part and you could see more clearly. neener!

Calling someone a pervert and in the same breath complaining about one being condescending! You attempt to debate but always quickly fall back to complaining about the meanies on the other side while throwing out hostile barbs.

Once again you chime in with half truths and accusations.
I never complained about anything.
This was his answer to a comment that I typed using the EXACT same words as he has did in many, many posts.
Why did you not come to my aid when he said I was ignorant with pride for posting EXACTLY what he has?
I never called anyone a pervert.
I did ASK if he was a pervert for asking about my kids.
As I see it it is none of anybody's concern about my kids unless that is the topic of discussion, which it is not in this case as the topic is A conversation with a D about Obama.

JTapia Well I just ask because I want my kids to grow up educated, I try to expose them to the most literate reading material I can. Sometimes the Times messes up, but it's read by just about everyone, McCain, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Libby. I can't understand why someone would choose to limit what they read to one or two sources that are suspect at best, remember Scott Mclelan?

Yes the Khmer Rouge are from my neck of the woods, I was even there when they still controled most of the country, and of course I knew many former KR as well as many who had lost family. Cambodians aren't very educated, certainly not educated enought to have an ideology. (Fox watchers all) They simply needed to accuse someone of being a CIA spy and then that was it, hoe to the back of the head. When you demonize someone with words, and make it ok to kill and torcher them, that's what happens. Same stuff everywhere.

I consider the US a country of laws, it's the thin veneer that separates us from becoming the Khmer Rouge. Terrible that we decided to break them.

But back on topic, I guess you see what you want to see. Some listen to the MSM who says Obama has trouble with this or that, but I look at poll numbers and what gets done. The popularity, and the number of accomplishments is pretty hard to avoid seeing. Ever heard of a Congresman getting recalled before? Looks like that Cao in Louisiana is for voting against the stimulus, pretty soom they'll be able to hold the Repug convention in a phone booth. LOL

It is "torture" not "torcher."

Funny that it is used in context with describing someone else as uneducated.

I don't need words to demonize terrorists, they do it for me with their actions. Do you even care about the victims of 911,uss cole, the US embassy bombings? As they were law abiding Americans I don't think you do. To you they were expendable. To me (and many others) their lives and that of whoever may be next are worth killing, dying and even waterboarding someone for. Maybe if they were murderers or crimminals youd be their advocate. When will you learn American lives are more important to some of us than that of terrorists? It's clear from your posts that you wouldn't lift a finger to save a fellow citizen yet you would go to any lenghts to give constitutional rights to murderers, thugs and cowards. And you accuse me of not having values? You don't understand the meaning of the word.

Uhm Bunny Boarder you seem to have missed the point. Who gets to decide who the "terrorists, CIA spies, jews, infidels" are. You and your Pol Pot Nazi brethren? You're all the same everywhere. Every country has a few of you, the trick is not to let you out of the closet. Crawl back under that rock.

I am so proud of you for making sure your kids are properly educated.
How, through my participation in the discussions on this forum, did you come to the conclusion that I restrict my kids reading materials?
I have stated on here several times that I get my news from several different sources, with some being MSM. From that I try to decipher all the information and form my opinion from all available information.
It has been my experience from being around news events that were reported on MSM news, that alot of "facts" get washed away using the detergent of personal opinion. A fine example would be Hurricanes and how the MSM reports them. They do embellish on the "truth" and show only the most seriously damaged areas while ignoring the areas that sensible folks live and take precautions against storm damage. Showing demolished houses that are built 20 or 30 ft from the high tide line on the beach is just as silly as showing "stranded refugees" in New Orleans who were told days in advance to leave the city.
I teach my kids to inform themselves and form their OWN opinion from the "facts" from their sources while taking into account the source and how historically reliable it is.
The NY Times has become an opinion paper and no longer provides unbiased news reporting, in mine and many others opinion, which is why they are close to bankruptcy and are being bailed out by a Mexican Billionaire.

As for Scott Mclelan, yeah I remember him. White House Press Secretary. Wrote a book that didn't show the Bush Administration in a good light but when questioned before congress backtracked on alot of insinuations he had made in the book.

Once again you ignore the issue and like a two year old who hasn't gotten his way on the playground ,resort to name calling . I did find it vastly amusing that you would liken Pol Pot to a Nazi instead of a communist. Both lefties like you to be sure but big philosphical differences. I would expect you to know that since the Khmer Rough are your pals, not mine. In addition coming out of the closet and living under rocks are immature and again right off the playground where you apparently spent mose of your time instead of in a classroom learning the differences between Nazis and commies. I comment on your lack of values and you come right back and prove me right. As to who decides who the terrorists are shouldnt be difficult even for you. Their the ones shooting at our soldiers or supporting those who do. I assumed you had the intellectual capacity to figure that out on your own. Apparently I was wrong. I will now go back into my closet beneath my rock and waterboard some rabbits. Or whatever it is you think I do!!

How are you going to hunt when Obama takes your guns and hunting places away, and don't tell me that it would never happen. They sure are working on it already.
