Confused in Arizona

I find it hard to believe that over 700 people can read, and some respond to whether or not you can hunt on Sunday. This is the first time i have ever been to a website seeking advise, yet i cannot get one fellow bowhunter to answer my questions about what tree seats i should use, to help me be successful in an out of state hunt.

Hey az, calm down and relax a bit sometimes it takes people a while to respond to these we have jobs too, lose the attitude or you won't have any responses at all!! Now to try and help you out a bit, Whitetail are generally the same whereever you hunt just differant subspecies but they all act pretty much the same. To answer your tree stand question go out and start looking at the differant styles on the market and pick one that you like and is in your price range. Tree stands {and I assume your talking portables} are all pretty much the same. Options to consider weight, how far do you have to pack it in? Ease of attaching to trees, I've got a couple that are real nightmares trying to hook up. These are your two main considerations. If anyone else has ideas jump on in. As far as rattling and calling goes, I can't tell you for sure what phase of the rut you'll be hunting there, I'm just guessing but we'll say that the rut is in full swing. Don't be afraid to try both methods, like they say "anything is better than nothing" GOOD HUNTING...

Azbowhntr you might want to look under the archery thread, there has been some discussion on treestands there.

Here's one of the threads.

Thanks for the response to my questons. I do apologize for coming off harsh, I was feeling a little frustrated. I use a climbing seat here in Az. However, I don't think that will work where I am going. My problem is time. I need to figure what I need, order it from Cabela's, then ship it directly to the farm I will be hunting on. We will be huntig Nov.5 thru Nov. 11. The insight on hunting the rut was helpful. Thanks for the help.
