Colorado Unit 61

I will be hunting bull elk in unit 61 during 2nd season. I am planning to head down and do some scouting. I was thinking of concentrating on the area NE of Nucla. Does anyone have any guidance they can provide to get me started? Thanks!

Thanks guys. I went down over the weekend and spent a couple days familiarizing myself with the unit a little bit. I saw some elk and even a pretty good sized bear. I found a couple "holes" that might hold some elk come hunting season. I'll probably head back down in July to get further from the roads. There is such a variety of territory...It is a great looking unit.
