Colorado unit 43 Turkey advice?

I drew a tag for unit 43 in Colorado, south of Glenwood Springs.  I was wondering if anyone had any advice about the area, or might know some landowners open to giving permission to hunt for a trespass fee.  Thanks!

Can't help you very much on

Can't help you very much on turkeys in 43, I hunted elk there one year and didn't see any turkeys other than the ones wearing orange.

As I am sure that you know, follow the snow line up and watch the creek bottoms.  That has always got me through a new area while hunting turkeys.

I did the unit 96 draw unit a couple of times and had success with Rio's on the river.  I wanted to try unit 43 for something different.  I researched it and apparently there is a good population of Merriam's in this unit.  I've hunted Merriam's successfully in other units so I have an idea of what to look for.  Was just hoping someone familiar with 43 might impart some knowledge if the area.
