colorado people

just got a quick question. so the lady im seein is thinking bout moving to colorado next year, just wondering how the hunting is for archery? not sure what part but considering of trailing and making a change. but i am more interested in the elk more than anything. how are your guys elk units divided up? there a lot of bull only, spike only, cow/spike only unless drawn for a bull tag? hows the hunting pressure down there? Im in Washington State and where I hunt is cow/spike only units or just spike units.

There are no spike only general units. The OTC archery bull tag is good for about half of western Colorado, which will put you into some good elk country. Ther is a 4 point minimum restriction. The season is roughly a month long. All of the easy to access units within about 2 hours of the Front Range, plus a handful of other units with good ATV access are overrun over Labor Day and the opening weekend of muzzleloader season. The rest is quite tolerable.

Thinking of moving to another state with your lady and you have your priorities straight. No sissy crap like do I love her? Is this a committment I'm willing to make?

Nope - straight to what's important - Hows the hunting?
