Colorado OTC archery either sex?

Hi everyone, I know we covered this topic last year but I can't seem to find the thread. Here is my situation.

I did not get drawn for my Elk hunt this year. I am waiting to see if the hunting camp has one more spot for me on a private ranch for 2nd season rifle. I believe it is an OTC unit but private land.

Can I still get an either sex Archery tag? for unit 371? I remember someone telling me it was a list B unit so it was ok?

any advice would be helpful.

The way that I read it the B

The way that I read it the B license needs to be a anterless and not either sex. Even in the guide book on page 29 it shows that it needs to be a private land anterless tag.

So if I purchase an OTC

So if I purchase an OTC Archery cow tag in 371 I should be ok to hunting in an OTC unit for second rifle with and either sex tag?

I need to review the regs. I am confusing myself ..ahaha

The only unit that you can

The only unit that you can have as a list B tag for either sex is a hunt code of E-E-082-P5-R.

So if you purchase a OTC archery tag in 371 then if you want to hunt in the second season the that tag needs to be a anterless tag and not a either sex tag unless you are hunting in unit 82 private land.

Basically no

No you cannot. You would have to get the antler less archery license, which is list b and would allow you to buy the OTC bull tag for 2nd season. or you can get the either sex archery license if you were planning on buying a list b tag for that private land. All private land only cow tags are list b, but if you were planning to buy a bull tag it would probably be list a. If you wanted a public / private cow tag it could be either, so you'd have to figure out which unit it's in, then look it up.

Though there are exceptions, you can only get two tags per year and only one can be for a bull or either sex

Thanks everyone for the help.

Thanks everyone for the help. One last question before I kill this topic for good.

If I get a cow archery tag and a bull rife tag(2nd season) can I fill both tags or am I done after filling the archery tag?

Potentially I can get a cow and a bull?
