Colorado mule deer regulation question

Hi guys, I have a question regarding Colorado mule deer regulations. I am somewhat confused and looking for some help.

I drew an early season rifle tag this year, buck only. Is there anyway I can pick up a doe tag for a rifle season? Perhaps a left over tag?

The rate i'm eating my early rifle deer, I will need more meat..

As long

As long as it is a list b or c license. As you are only allowed 1 list A tag.

As the seasons get closer the

As the seasons get closer the tags disappear fairly quick except for the private land hunts.

You might look for a cow elk tag for a extra one.

I grabbed a cow elk tag for

I grabbed a cow elk tag for archery but did not fill it.  I was planning on getting an OTC bull rifle tag for 2nd rifle.  Can I also get a left over cow tag?  Only a list C tag i believe?

You need to decide weather

You need to decide weather you want a bull tag or a cow tag but not both since you have already had a cow archery tag.  Other than that you would need to look at private land hunts.

Dumb question

How does one go about getting a private land tag?or are you referring to outfitters?

No

If you look in your brochure you will see a ton of PLO ( private land only ) codes and season dates for which species you want to hunt. They are right there with the other hunt codes. These are usually left over more often then not, but you need permission to hunt where you are thinking of going. These are not Voucher licenses. You can have 1 list A license and 1 list B license or 2 list b licenses or a List A or B and unlimited list C licenses. It is all there in the book. List C are going to be Private land Cow or Doe.

Tags are bought OTC right now if they are leftover.

list c tags

You can have any amount of list c tags...even if you already had both a list a and a list b tag!
