Colorado Leftovers
On sale tomorrow, August 10 at 9am.
If you have to return a license, do it today in order to avoid the lines at the DOW tomorrow.
Try to avoid the big box stores if you can.
Here's a list of license agents:
http://wildlife.state.co.us/ShopDOW/AppsAndLicenses/LicenseAgents/LicenseAgentList.htm
There's a lot of places on that list that may not immediately come to mind for most hunters. So if you're looking to avoid the lines, head to the fishing stores and hardware stores.
But make sure they will be open by 9am tomorrow if you don't know the store very well.
Here's the leftover list once again:

For you out of staters, you can purchase licenses over the phone tomorrow, but online sales don't start until midnight

I'm ready

I will be on the phone at 9 tomorrow morning, trying for an extra cow tag and a doe tag.  I just hope my skype works from here (Iraq) tomorrow.

I was on hold for 40 min and ended up with and additional cow tag.  Now I have the chance to take two elk again this year.

Got everything I wanted

But, If you didn't get yourself a buck deer tag, all the good ones are now gone. It's basically just unit 29 and 38 now

I called the DOW at 9am sharp and got right in and was on hold for 35mins when the person picked up i was disconnected. I got so pist, and never could get back in the phone system.

I will try online early in the morning and hopfully they will have a cow tag left over. Wright now there are still some on the list for my unit.

Made it!

Got to Walmart at 8:30 this AM and there were already fifteen people in line. Had me a little worried as there were only nine tags left of the leftover I wanted. Luckily after sweating there a few minutes I got my private property Sep. Cow rifle tag. Also picked up a late season pp doe antelope tag. This means game time starts Sep. 1st for rifle cow, followed by muzzleloader buck and bear in the middle of the month, then buck antelope early Oct., followed by rifle bull first elk season. Considering my dad and daughter also have buck rifle Nov. tags and then my Dec. doe antelope tag with some coyote hunting sprinkled in between the next few months should be fun.

Let the countdown begin and good luck to all! Thumbs up
