Colorado leftover licenses

The draw stats are now out, so you can figure out what licenses will be available for the leftover draw and make some pretty educated guess as to which licenses will make it to leftover day.  Not going to do a full list like I normally do, but just look for hunt codes that have a number other than 0 in the current balance column.

I've been studying it all

I've been studying it all night. I can only see one unit with some deer tags near me, and it's private land. Which is ok, I know a landowner in the unit. Hardly my first pick, but better than nothing.

You know that new tag they came up with this year that was buck rifle in ML season above treeline? 20 tags were offered and 300 applied for it. I knew that one was a lost cause. One guy used 11 points to get it.

Thanks for the heads-up.  I

Thanks for the heads-up.  I have to admit I will miss your breakdown of the leftover licenses.  Even though I was not looking to purchase, I enjoyed reading your thoughts on each of the licences/units.  Thanks again.

To see if there is a left over tag for the unit look on the left hand side where it says

Orig Quota

Cur Bal

If there is left over tags there will be a number in
Cur Bal or currant ballance

Might have to rethink a little

If I am reading these right I might change my plans just a little. Thats if I can be one of the guys that manages to buy one of the leftovers.

Have a plan

Go for the tag you want, but have some backup plans

So, I'm now showing a code

So, I'm now showing a code 590 Res Deer under my current licenses. I'm guessing this is great news but will have to wait just a bit longer to find out exactly what I drew.

Plan B, I have had my first

Plan B, I have had my first choice deer tag in my hand now for at least 3 weeks so if you haven't received yours odds are it was for one of your other choices. If you know how to read the statistics page and know how many points you had going in for your first choice you should be able to figure out what tag you have without waiting.
