Colorado leftover license lists

This is the pre leftover draw leftover list.  So, the numbers may change, but not by a whole lot as most people don’t check the leftover draw option.  Some of those really low double and single digit tags numbers might not get past the leftover draw.  This is a mostly complete list of public land options, no private land only tags.  I did not do archery deer or elk leftovers, nor did I do list A cow licenses.

Deer west of I25, rifle and muzzleloader buck.  Does not include private land only tags.

Thanks for the early look at

Thanks for the early look at the new list. The only thing I will really be looking for is the doe tags in 444. Not very many left but about the same as usual. The only diference is all 4 of us need them in the second season this year so it could be close as I know they all go in the first day. It usually takes about an hour in line the morning they go on sale but I do it every year.

RFW on the Leftover List?!?

Wow.  I would agree about "interesting" how the Four Mile RFW tags ended up in the leftover draw.  Their published success rates on the DOW website dropped significantly after last year's season--might be some hiccups from changing the outfitter running the hunts.  I hunted antelope there last year and had a great time.  I've also hunted on the lands neighboring the Four Mile ranch property and have seen lots of elk, no big bulls or anything, but lots of rag horns and too many cows to count.

If you're a resident and got snubbed on the draw thus far, I'd definitely consider one of these tags.  You can bet the outfitter will be interested in getting a much better success rate this year or risk losing some of their allotment of private tags.

Just my 2 cents.....And thanks for posting the pre-lim list.  Appreciated it!

is there a way to look at these list?

Trying to see what leftover archery tags may be out there, Another question are all these first come first serve Aug.9 or is there some other way they do it. thanks

no

The official leftover list is not put out until after the leftover draw.  If you were unsuccessful in the draw and remembered to check the leftover draw option, then the DOW will mail you the official list.  The first come first served list wont be out for a few more weeks.  The archery deer licenses are in my blog:

VERY few archery tags were left...

I gave my list away after I drew, but there were only like 5-6 different archery tags left on the list. Mostly middle of state (south of Gunnison) and southwest stuff.

I too am waiting for the results of the leftover draw! Ex posted up the number of tags left, based on his numbers extracted from the DOW statistics tables.

He also found it interesting that there were a couple of RFW cow tags left on one ranch.

...but when the draw letter got to me, that tag was not on the list! I entered it on-line, and it was still validated so I went for it! Might just get rejected all together, but the 4 of us also might be lucky and the only ones that did it! So ...SSSHHHHH! Don't tell ANYONE!
