Colorado leftover day

Leftover license day is tomorrow.  If you needed to exchange a license,  you probably should have taken care of it already.  Instead, I'd go to the DOW today, and have that license voided so you aren't stuck going to the DOW on Tuesday.  And find an out of the way store, not a big, obvious one like WalMart, Sportsman's Warehouse, Gander Mountain, Jax, etc.

Here's the list:

I will be going to the local

I will be going to the local co-op as usual as everyplace else seems to get confused when I try to buy my daughters and sons tags for them as well. But I know I will need at least an hour to get there early and sign up or it will be even longer. It's gotten to be a ritual I've gotten used to.

This unit 10 elk license is causing me a lot of stress and lost sleep. Do you guy's think I should go have it voided and forget about it?lol

Actually you need to take

Actually you need to take that unit 10 elk tag and burn it.  Then you can get some sleep and not have to burn all that gas running up there to scout for that spike bull that is waiting for you.Dancing

Come to think of it I don't think that you can burn one of these Colorado tags.  There is way too much plastic in them but it just might melt.

couldn't help myself

Wasn't even planning on going out today, as the only other tag I "needed" was an OTC bull tag.  But.... well, I'm pretty well maxed out now.  Not sure how that even happened Confused

Didn't mean to.  Was just gonna sit back and watch the leftover lists to see which licenses sold out when... Instead I had to jump on in.

Leftovers for 11,12,13,231,23,24,25,26,33

There were 95 cow tags left.  They were sold out by 9:19am.

Got two, but my friend who was at a Walmart behind someone trying to get 5 different tags didn't get his at 9:19am.

I went first to an ACE hardware where there were 8 people already in line at 8:35am.  I went across the parking lot 100 yards to a Loaf and Jug and was the only person in line until 8:50am.  I got lucky.

Well I was in line at 7:45

Well I was in line at 7:45 which usually would have been first but this year it pu me at about the 7th. No time to really go anywhere else so I sat it out. I did get doe tags for my daught er and son but they were gone when I tried to get mine. Got my son a 4th season cow and my dad and I private land long season in 10. Only have about 100 acres to use but for the cow it should be fine.

Better luck next year if I get up even earlier.
