that's awesome! what about the moose? weight? antlers? gun&caliber?

I guess it's a Shiraz moose but it still looks good enough.

Could certainly consider going to CO for a moose hunt - the New England lotteries seem to last a lifetime before you actually get a permit...

Come one over! The shiras are getting bigger here...from one of my other forums I am addicted to!! Brick Wall,) He said it is 45" and used a Weatherby .340 mag!

that's a monster! especially if it's a shiraz. Seems to be as big as the bigger ones we harvest in northern Sweden - and we harvest about 80 000 moose a year in this country, which is the size of California...

But I hunt with a handgun, which is why I want to hunt moose in the US. It's unfortunately not legal here. A rightly placed .430 bullet should stop a moose distinctly at least up to a hundred yards or so...
